In the supply chain for the marine industry Estonia cannot (and should not) compete on pricing anymore. And it needn’t, given the proven track record of Estonian supply for its quality. Also, the country’s capabilities are such that Estonia can capitalize on its collective skill set now that the marine industry is electrifying fast and ongoing automation represents a growing demand for expertise in (industrial) IT and cybersecurity. Let us investigate how Estonia can leverage off the Netherlands in the conception and distribution of a new proposition in marine.
